Welcome !

Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 105, Mendon, New York

Our Vision:

  • To offer an EXCITING Outdoor Program,
  • To have FUN meeting nights,
  • To be ORGANIZED in everything we do,
  • To be sure EVERONE can achieve their goals.

Troop 105 is boy lead which means the boys design the program and lead the approved events. Troop 105 focuses their efforts on outdoor programming, fun meeting nights, and strive to help each other achieve their goals.

The Troop strives to have camping opportunities each month of the year offering exciting camping experiences for the adventurous scout.

Some of the favorite annual events are:

  • Scout Brigade
  • Trophy Challenge
  • Rock Climbing
  • Massawepie
  • ADK Paddle Trip

The scouts plan patrol meetings during their monthly Patrol Leader Council (PLC) meetings with the guidance of adult volunteers.

Advancements can be initiated individually, patrol or troop level. Some events that facilitate advancement in rank or badges are the Merit Bade University, Massawepie Camp, or Seven Ranges camp or the scout can work with a Merit Badge counselor on any desired badge.

The boys participate in council and international activities such as a Trophy Challenge, Scout Brigade at Fort George.

Troop 105 actively serves the community through several planned annual events as well as Eagle Scout projects in Mendon and Honeoye Falls.

  • Flag Placing for Memorial Day
  • Food Link
  • Mendon Fire Department Chicken BBQ
  • Mendon Station Festival
  • Scouting for Food
The scouts earn money for troop activities by holding two annual fundraisers, a pancake breakfast and a dunking booth at the Mendon Carnival.
